Mummies Hunnies Terms & Conditions
ORDER PROCESS

Once the order has been received by Mummies Hunnies you will receive an email receipt confirming payment. When in stock goods will be dispatched within one working day of receipt of payment from the customer. Please note this acknowledgement does not represent a legal contract to supply goods at this stage. Subject to stock and final pricing we will issue a email notification to you detailing when the goods were despatched. The notice of despatch will represent our contractual commitment to supply you with the goods. If Mummies Hunnies is unable for any reason to complete your order we will contact you within 48 working hour to explain why and to either suggest an alternative. If an alternative is not suitable we will refund any payment you may have already made.


ORDER CONFIRMATION, SHIPPING, HANDLING AND POSTAGE

Orders will be despatched by UK surface mail unless you have specifically requested an alternative method. 
Our delivery charges are £3.95 per order for anywhere in the UK, BFPO, Channel Isles.
We send by First Class mail, recorded delivery.
We give the 'best estimate' for delivery times, we do not give guarantees.
If you think you’re unable to receive recorded mail, please let us know and we can send unrecorded at your own risk.
If your order is urgent please mark this in the comments box, and we will contact you if there is a problem.
If there if going to be a delay of a week or over we contact you by email to let you know.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS


We provide a secure and fully insured delivery service to most International destinations.
For all our orders overseas we charge a minimum of £5.95 for airmail delivery up to 500gr, fully insured, the extra charge is dependant on the weight of the package.

We aim to keep this charge to a minimum and if the charge is to exceed £6.00 we will contact you to confirm this is OK with you.
 

VAT CHARGES

Within the UK childrens clothes are zero rated for VAT purposes which means that there is no VAT payable. Please telephone (+44) 208 643674 for further details. 
 

NO QUIBBLE GUARANTEE

We want you to share in our passion for the products but if for any reason you’re not completely satisfied we have a no quibble guarantee. You can return your order for any reason, within 14 days for a full refund or exchange (less postage) provided goods are returned in their original condition with the receipt, the item is unworn and in new condition, with all the labels and tags attached and in all the original packaging. Any items returned to us marked, stained, worn or smelling of smoke will not be refunded. This is in addition to your statutory rights.
Please take care how the item is packaged, we will not refund items that have become damaged by the packaging.
It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the garments reach us safely, and in their original condition, we do not accept packages where the postage is unpaid.
Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning goods to us unless the item is faulty or it was delivered to you in error. We would recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service as we will not accept any responsibility for items lost in the post/non delivery. The original receipt must be enclosed in the package or it cannot not be processed.


HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE
   
1. Please  telephone us when sending us a return on 0208 6436748 (we have an answering service     out of opening hours).
2. Please send the parcel to Mummies Hunnies, 28 High Street, Cheam, SURREY, SM3 8RL, along with a note detailing whether you would like an exchange or a refund & the reason for the return.
3. Please take your parcel(s) to your nearest post office. We recommend that you send returns by recorded post. Always retain proof of postage. Goods are returned to Mummies Hunnies at your own expense and risk.
4. We will email/write to confirm your return has been processed. You will receive your refund credit (not including the postage) when the items have been safely delivered to us, or exchange order (when in stock) within approximatley 2 weeks after you post the goods back to us.
5. Please note that refunds bought as presents can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can’t stop the payer knowing.


LEGAL STATEMENTS ON RETURNS

Returning any item within 14 DAYS will be taken as notice of cancellation of your order (or relevant part of your order). Goods are provided to you on approval and legal title to the goods will not pass to you until the 7 day post-delivery period has expired. On receipt of the returned goods, Mummies Hunnies will give you a full refund of the amount paid for the goods (but not the postage) or an exchange credit as required. You must, however, return the goods to Mummies Hunnies on cancellation in order to receive a full refund or exchange. When returning goods on which you have received a discount/offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold and the refund will be adjusted accordingly. Your statutory rights on returns are considerably enhanced by all of this.
Please enclose your name, order number and address details and reason for return inside the parcel to ensure a prompt refund. If possible, please print off your email receipt and enclose it with the parcel as this has all the details we require.

Don't worry! If you send the item back to us within 14 days, unworn with labels attached and in it’s original condition, you can either exchange the item or have a full refund.

Why is this product on the web site if you are completely sold out?
We are very sorry if an item you would like to order is sold out or is delayed. We really do try and make sure that as many items as possible are in stock. We try to predict sales and how many of each colour and each size of each individual product we should order at least 6 months ahead of the season. Unfortunately this is not an exact science and every season some items sell far better than expected (and some not so well). In addition, since we buy from established Brands we are also reliant on their availability, it is not always feasible to get repeat deliveries. We do sincerely apologise if an item that you want to order is out of stock and hate this problem as much as you do.
 
Why can you not guarantee the item is in stock?
Our web site is not linked live to our stock system and as we are a shop as well, the item may have been sold between you placing the order and it being taken from the sales floor. We do advise all our merchandise is subject to availability Although we update the web site daily, it’s impossible to guarantee availability which we’re sure you appreciate.
 
How long does it take to process my returns?
We will always try and process your returns as quickly as possible, but, as stated it can take up to a couple of weeks when we are very busy.
